The wedding where this photo was taken was the first time I had ever been to or even heard of The Center Stage Theater in Fontana, California. The venue is a one-screen movie theatre establishment that was converted into a Dinner & Show Theater that now hosts Weddings, Broadway-like productions, large private events, music acts and celebrations. The venue is fully equipped to host any kind of celebration as they have a full staff, large kitchen, huge stage and dining area. There is also a large lobby area that can accommodate photobooths, cocktail hours, etc.
This shot occurred by chance as I was out of the Bridal Room and my assistant was inside with the bride as she was putting on her dress. I typically wait for my assistant to give me the "it's all clear" cue before I enter any room with the opposite sex getting dressed. As I was waiting in the other room, I was photographing a few of the details like the flowers and the gifts the couple couple exchanged earlier when the Bride's daughter came running into the room. She had something very important to tell her mom and she "couldn't find her anywhere." right as she stormed into the room my assistant let me know that it was okay for me to come into the space to take a few photos. I looked down at her daughter and pointed at the curtain saying "I think she's in there." I quickly jumped into my spot and waited for her to go into the hoping to capture exactly what I did. I'm really glad that the little flower girl did not just throw the curtain aside and run in, otherwise this shot would not have worked out the way it actually unfolded. Also, I was pretty lucky that the bride was standing right where she was because it was a rather large room.
